Wisconsin Rapids Senior Photographer // Class of 2017

If you know me at all then you know I've got a passion for empowering and encouraging women. And seniors were my first love!

Being a teenager is hard. Like really freaking hard. Being a teenage girl? It's basically the worst. Trying to figure out who you are and what you want to do with the rest of your life plus all the pressures society and your peers put on you?? It's a lot. Each year I get to meet so many amazing young women who are the verge of the greatness. They are getting ready to start their adult lives. It's such a cool and exciting time. And the fact that I get to capture them at that stage and remind them that they are perfect and beautiful and powerful and unique and have worth beyond measure? That's pretty cool.

The class of 2017 though?? Seriously stole my heart. I have gotten to know these girls outside of just their sessions. We've talked about their relationships, their dreams, we've laughed and prayed together. I've hung out in their homes. I've waited to hear if they got accepted to the school of their choice. They let me know when my hair is good and when it's bad, they keep my wardrobe in check and tell me when to stop saying things like "bomb".

These ladies are passionate and funny and empathetic and brave and bright and some of my favorite people. And I'm already getting a little sad that they're going to leave me in a few months. But I'm more excited to see what's in store for them. These ladies are world changers, movers and shakers. So this post is a little early but congrats girls. I'm so freaking proud of you! And fyi I'm totally coming to crash in your dorm room! xoxo
