Rachel- Class of 2017

I'm already missing senior season terribly. I honestly wish it could be late summer/early fall all year round and I could just run around with my seniors and laugh and make pretty pictures. Unfortunately this is Wisconsin. And soon it's going to be winter. So I'll just keep revisiting my sessions from this summer to tide me over.
This year was gooooood. My seniors were seriously killing it. This session in particular is pretty special. I used to babysit Rachel a thousand years ago. And now I feel especially old. It's been so cool watching this girl grow into an incredible young lady. She is witty and smart and focused and unique and talented and sweet and unapologetically herself. And she didn't even hate me after we both got poison ivy. So yeah... She's basically the best.

This last image is one of my most favorite portraits that I have ever taken. I imagine Rachel's great grand kids finding it in a box in an attic someday. They'll talk about what a natural beauty she was and how she was full of grace and wit.
